Summit Guides is an italian based Mountain Guides organization, owned by Filippo Livorno. We live at the foot of the Mont Rose and the Mont Blanc and we love to share our passion with our clients. We organize different kind of climbs in the Alps in the summer and amazing skitouring trips during the winter, providing our clients with a professional service and lots of good moments in the mountains! All our Guides are IFMGA/UIAGM qualified and they love to share their knowledge and their passion with you!

Mountain Guide UIAGM/IFMGA

I quit my regular job some years ago to become a professional Mountain Guide...I’ve always loved to be out in the mountain, climbing, skiing and having good moment with friends out there. My professional guiding experience includes extensive Alpine, Ice, Rock and Ski trips. During the summer I mainly work in the Mont Blanc and Mont Rose area, guiding clients to the top of the Alps or discovering some lovely spot in the Mont Rose massif. During the winter and spring, mainly because I love skitouring and ice-climbing, I usually guide my clients all over the Alps looking for some good snow to ski or ice to climb! I've lead international expeditions to Patagonia (several times), Spitzbergen Islands (close to North Pole), Bolivia, Nepal, Ecuador, Morocco, China, New Zealand, Korea and others. I love: getting in touch with people, learning new languages, South America, asados, skiing in deep powder, the sun...but most of all I like to see the happiness in the eyes of a friend of mine at the end of a good day in the mountain together!
